PAVILION, SELSEY. THE famous radio family, the Lyons, appear in the British production. "LIFE WITH THE LYONS." together with Horace Percival, Molly Weir, Hugh Morton and Arthur Hill. For the Lyons, the pleasant freshly-painted London house means a new lease of life. Their landlord. Mr. Hemmingway. has only grudgingly accepted this "quiet, well-behaved family" because it will take such care of his house and cherish his family heirloom—the chandelier. Within a few minutes of crossing the threshold, the "quiet" family has created such chaos that Mr. Hemmingway walks out with the keys and the unsigned lease in his pocket. Louis Hayward portrays the brilliant but light-hearted detective, Simon Templar, in "THE SAINT'S RETURN," with Sydney Tafler, Naomi Chance and Charles Victor. Jack Hawkins. Elizabeth Allan. and Eva Bartok appear in the British drama, "FRONT PAGE STORY." The film deals with 12 exciting hours in the life of John Grant, news editor of a fictitious London newspaper, the Daily World. The news editor (Jack Hawkins) has an even more busy day than usual. Two news stories over which he has a hunch come to a dramatic climax before the day is through. One of them concerns a distinguished atomic scientist whom a reporter discovers handing over scientific secrets to a foreign power. and the other news story deals with Mrs. Thorpe, who is on trial for her life at the Old Bailey. Interwoven with these stories is the plight of Grant's private life. In the comedy "RUN FOR THE HILLS." Sonny Tufts portrays a man who buys a cave to escape from an H-bomb attack which he fears is imminent. Barbara Payton plays the part of his wife. Every day there will be a demonstration of Vista Vision. including extracts from some of the forthcoming attractions filmed with the new technique.
