PAVILION, SELSE.Y "SVENGALI" starring Hildegarde Neff, Donald Wolfit and Terence Morgan, is the story of a beautiful young artist's model who is transformed into the greatest singer the world has known by a fanatical owner. genius, Svengali .The film is set in the Latin quarter of Paris, and as a background there is a feud between Svengali and Billy, a young English art student. Billy is passionately in love with the girl, but Svengali, by hypnotism keeps her under his spell—a spell which lasts until his own death. Starting on Thursday, "AUNT CLARA" is a delightful comedy-drama with a new comedy team, Ronald Shiner and Margaret Rutherford. It is the story of how an old reprobate leaves his greyhounds, his fairground swindle, "Gambler's Luck." and his public-house to his niece. Overwhelmed she vows to carry out his wish that his estate be put to good use.
