SELSEY. Whist Drive. On Thursday evening one of the most successful and enjoyable whist drives of recent years was held at the Pavilion. It was organised on behalf of the new Church Hall by Mr. Dewey, who acted as M.C. In spite of unkind weather, the Pavilion was crowded, 37 tables being in play. The prizes, given the ladies and gentlemen of the district, were distributed by Mrs. K. H. MacDermott (the wife of the Rector of Selsey) to the following;—Ladies; 1, Miss M. Harding; 2, Miss Ellaby; 3, Miss M. Lambeth; 4, Mrs. Deighton; consolation, Miss Chambers. Gentlemen's 1, Mr. A. Mitchell; 2, Mr. P. Marshall; 3, Mr. T. F. Kite; 4. Mr. R. Terry; highest half, Mr. Cox; consolation, Mr. Halstead, The funds of the Church Hall will benefit to the extent just over £16,
