PAVILION, SELSEY. "HER SISTER'S SECRET,” to be presented on Monday, for three days, follows the romance of a beautiful New Orleans belle with a dashing young serviceman on leave, which is interrupted when her lover is unexpectedly sent overseas. Finding that she is to become mother, and with her proposed marriage indefinitely postponed, the girl confides in her married sister, who arranges to take the baby as her own. Dramatic conflict later arises when the mother wants her child back, and the girls face each other, each determined to fight for the baby's future. The second feature," BORN TO SPEED." centres on one of America’s fastest and most dangerous sports, midget auto racing . In "ROOKIES COME HOME,” which completes the week’s entertainment, the famous Abbott and Costello comedy team return to civilian life. They become involved in many hilarious situations through trying to retain and make a home for a little French orphan they have smuggled out of France.
