Concert Party Success. Mr. Dick Woodford scored another great success at the Pavilion on Thursday of last week, in presenting his new production ’’The Musical Pages Concert Party.” As the artistes appeared from a huge book, in their blue and gold uniforms they were greeted with much enthusiasm There was not one dull moment in the programme. The company included Misses Winnie Sluman (soprano), Jess Maidment (soubrette), Connie Lamb (comedienne), Messrs. Dick Woodford (pianist and producer), Charlie Pratt (comedian), and Jack Lawrence (light comedian). Special mention must be given to the potted pantomime "Dick Whittington", Jess Maidment making a fine principal boy, with life and movement, Winnie Sluman, a charming principal girl, and Connie Lamb, a fine cat. It is hoped that they will soon give a repeat performance. Mr. Dick Woodford is certainly to be congratulated on his success as a producer.
