PAVILION, SELSEY. "WHERE'S CHARLEY?" (Sunday and Monday), "MARA MARU" (Tuesday and Wednesday), and "BOTANY BAY" (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) are the attractions at the Pavilion, Selsey, next week. " Where's Charley?" starring Ray Bolger, is a Technicolor musical based on the famous stage success, "Charley's Aunt," but none of the humour of the plot, its endless complications and deceptions, is lost in the screen version. "Mara Maru" Is an adventure story. in which Errol Flynn and Ruth Roman appear, about the exploits of an American in search of sunken treasure and his partner's murderer in Manila. Colourful melodrama, including fights, a storm at sea, and deep-sea diving abound. James Mason and Alan Ladd star in "Botany Bay," a story of the hardships of an American convict wrongly accused of highway robbery and shipped to New South Wales in 1787. This film is also in Technicolor. A "Roy Rogers' Riders' Club" has been formed at the Selsey Pavilion and the cinema has just received its charter incorporating it into the Roy Rogers organization. Mr. Rodney Hesse is the ranch foreman.
