Selsey Pavilion Archives: 1920-1929
The Church Missionary Society and the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel have amalgamated in Selsey for their meetings. Bishop Twitchell gave an interesting talk to the members at their meeting in the Pavilion on Wednesday, proving the need for missionaries abroad. As he has worked there for many years, he was able to point out the good work done. The meeting was well attended, great regret being expressed at the absence, through illness, of Miss Clayton, who for many years has helped the Church Missionary work in Selsey. The Minstrels are giving another of their entertaining concerts on Thursday evening, and although many dances, even masked ones, are advertised, the Minstrels' concert will be well patronised, for it will mean a really amusing programme.
