PAVILION, SELSEY. "HELL AND HIGH WATER" is a drama starring Richard Widmark. Walt Disney has brought to the screen one of the most daring exploits in American history with his "GREAT LOCOMOTIVE CHASE." The period is the Civil War, and a desperate group of Yankees decide to steal one of the Confederacy's supply trains. One of the greatest manhunts of all time follows their daring action. One of the gayest and most glamorous musicals to emerge from Hollywood for years is provided by "HIGH SOCIETY," starring Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly and Frank Sinatra. Newport, Rhode Island, last citadel of America's dwindling millionaires, with its imposing avenues and its marble palaces facing the sea, provides the setting for this story of a young and beautiful socialite who sheds husbands as other wives would shed their old dresses. Grace Kelly is superb as the girl who can't make up her mind, and Bing and Frank are in talented competition for her. Their battle is mainly a musical one, for Sinatra starts the softening-up process with "You're Sensational" and "Mind If I Make Love to You?" and Crosby replies with "True Love" and "I Love You, Samantha."
