WHIST DRIVE—There was a very small attendance at a whist drive held at the Selsey Hall on Monday evening, only 11 tables being engaged. The drive was arranged by the Singleton and West Dean United F.C., and owing to the absence on business of the hon. secretary; Mr. A . E. Veale very kindly acted as M.C., and in a few words after the drive thanked Mr. Lamb for the use of his room. The donors of the prizes were, Mr. Cross, Mr. Jestin, and Miss Linter. The prize-winners were:—Ladies: 1, Mr. A. Hozall; 2. Mr. F. Pratt (both playing as ladies, three points deducted from actual score); hidden number, Mrs. Reed. Gentlemen: 1. Mr. Fielder; 2, Mr. A. Saunders, hidden number, Mr. Sepp.
