The story concerns an ex-convict who becomes an under-cover man in order to track down a gang of racketeers. "MILITARY POLICEMAN" (Thursday. Friday and Saturday) in the icy wastes of Greenland. is a musical comedy starring Bob Hope, Mickey Rooney and Marilyn The film is set In the winter of 1944. A four-engined transport Maxwell. Bob Hope plays a fight manager who joins the Army to watch his champion lightweight fighter. Stanley Clements, but the fighter is declared unfit for service. In to stay, Bob meets Mickey Rooney, a young fight enthusiast and his aunt. Marilyn Maxwell. Bob, trains Rooney in an effort to impress Marilyn. and the resultant misadventures both in the ring and out plus a liberal dose of romantic and musical trimmings, culminate in victory for Mickey and wedding bells for Bob and Marilyn.
