PAVILION, SELSEY. COLOUR and excitement are provided at the Pavilion, Selsey. for the first two days of next week; the theatre will be closed on Wednesday. “THE NEW ADVENTURES OF DON JUAN’’ is the feature film for the first part of the week with Errol Flynn co-starred with Viveca Llndfors in a Warner Brothers picture. Mr. Flynn seems quite at home as the legendary lover, swordsman, and saviour the Spanish throne. The story is set in the time of Philip III, and his queen is played by Viveca Lindfors. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s presentation of “GREEN DOLPHIN STREET" is the leading attraction for the second part of the week, Lana Turner, Van Heflin, Donna Reed, and Richard Hart taking the starring parts. Lana Turner plays the part of a domineering girl who marries the man her sister loves. The story shows the combined forces of a great earthquake, a native uprising and the mystery adventurer who arrives on the scene at a well chosen moment The settings of this Elizabeth Goudge novel are St Pierre, the Channel Island seaport, in the 1840’s, and New Zealand.
