Transcript:

In Aid of St Dunstan’s. A very successful whist drive and dance was organized by Messrs. Chrippes and Cleere at the Pavilion Selsey on Thursday last, and in spite of this being the second drive for this excellent cause within a period of a few weeks, over 30 players competed. The prizes, which were presented by Mr. A. S. Cleere, were awarded to ;—Ladies : 1, Miss Bonnar; 2, Mrs. Short; highest first half. Miss Arnell; consolation. Miss M. Walls. Gentlemen : 1, Mr. H. A. Harris; 2, Mr. C. Rowlands; highest first half, Mr. Bartlett; consolation, Mr. Nicholls. Messrs. Chrippes, Outram and Jones acted as stewards.
