PAVILION, SELSEY. Following Dick Powell's success in "Farewell my Lovely," R.K.O. Radio have given him an even more dramatic role in "CORNERED," portraying a Canadian flyer bent on avenging his murdered bride. Walter Slezak heads the featured cast. Micheline Cheirel, the noted French actress making her first American screen appearance, has the romantic lead as the elusive murderer's widow. Nina Vale (the former Anne Hunter), Morris Carnovsky, Edgar Barrier, Steven Geray, Jack La Rue, Luther Adler and Gregory Gay have the other principal roles. "Cornered" comes to the Pavilion on Monday. Vivien Leigh and Claude Rains can be seen on Thursday in Bernard Shaw's "CAESAR AND CLEOPATRA." The film which is photographed in Technicolor, was produced and directed by Gabriel Pascal. Stewart Granger and Flora Robson are featured.
