PAVILION, SELSEY. Romance and mystery comprise the dual theme of R.K.O. Radio's latest dramatic offering, "THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE," on Monday. Dorothy McGuire portrays a young girl who has been marked for death at the hands of an unknown murderer. The man has created a reign of terror in the small town in which the action of the picture takes place. "WEEK-END AT THE WALDORF", which opens on Thursday, takes theatregoers on a forty-eight hour visit inside the world's most fabulous hotel, with four of the world's most glamorous screen stars; Ginger Rogers, Lana Turner, Walter Pidgeon and Van Johnson. It is an M.G.M. adventure drama which not only is a vehicle for that priceless quartet of stars but is at the same time a story of romance, suspense, humour and tragedy.
