Successful Whist Drive. One hundred and thirty persons attended and the prize givers were as follows ; Mrs. E. Gardner, Mrs. K. Madgwick, Mrs. L. Gardner, Mrs. Terry, Miss Wyatt, Messrs. W. Martin, W. C. Godel, J. Kite, J. Francis, P. Kennett, and Major Lamb. The winners: Ladies: 1, Mrs. Terry ; 2, Miss Outram; highest half, Mrs. D. Sayers; consolation, Mrs. Ayling. Gentlemen ; 1, Mrs. Smith (playing as gentleman) ; 2. Mr. A. Blackman ; highest half, Mrs. E. Merritt (playing gentleman) ; consolation, Mr. G. Wingham ; lucky tables prizes, Mrs. Rogers and Mr. W. Wingham; lucky chair prize, Miss Pedder; travelling prize, Mr. Wingham. Mis. K. Madgwick presented the prizes, and Mr. C. E. Vince acted as M.C. After the drive a dance was held; the Arcadian Dance Band supplied the music, and over £10 was realised.
