Transcript:

The Red Cross film shown at the Pavilion proved a great success. On Saturday night last, Mrs. Hardy gave a speech in which she spoke of Mrs. Gibson, who organises the Fund, as the mother of the Penny-a-Week Fund in Selsey. Mrs. Gibson also spoke, and when the collecting boxes from this show were handed in, the sum £3 14s. 2d. appeared to gladden their hearts.
