Horticultural Lecture. Mr. F. W. Costin addressed a large gathering of enthusiastic horticulturists at the Pavilion on Friday evening, the meeting being under the auspices of the Selsey Horticultural Society. Dr. Halstead took the chair in the absence of Mr. White. The League of Nations. The Pavilion Hall was crowded Wednesday evening to hear Major Evans Davis speak at the League of Nations Union. Alderman Apps was unfortunately prevented from coming. The Rev. Warne spoke on disarmaments, Mr. Bailey was elected Chairman again and the Messrs Shackle Secretary, and Treasurer. The Committee was again elected en bloc. The concert that followed refreshments was very enjoyable.
