A Feature at the Flower Show. SOCIETY'S FIRST EFFORT. A beautiful display of roses was a prominent feature of the Selsey Horticultural Society's first annual show, held in the Pavilion on Wednesday, when Mrs. Bostock (Mayoress of Chichester) opened the proceedings. Dr. A. A. Humphrys (President), Miss Lloyd (Hon. Sec., Mr. J. Bailey (Hon. Treasurer), and a committee were responsible for the arrangements, which resulted in over 200 entries being received. Mr. F. W. Costin, \Vest Sussex Horticultural Superintendent, judged the exhibits, and commented favourably upon the roses and sweet peas. The best exhibit was a bowl of roses shown by Dr. Halsted. (N.B.
