PAVILION, SELSEY. "ALADDIN AND HIS LAMP" with Patricia Medina and John Sands captures the romance and all the magic of the tales of "One Thousand Nights." Patricia plays the role of Princess Jasmine, sought by the villainous Bokra, played by John Dehner. She is beloved by young Aladdin, the thief who inherits riches after he finds the magic lamp. Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall and the rest of the Bowery Boys star in "FEUDIN' FOOLS." When the boys say goodbye to Louie in his sweet-shop they make tracks for a plantation in the South which has been left to Sach by his uncle, Zebediah. Jumping into their ancient jalopy the head south with dreams of a restful. luxurious life on the plantation, but when arrive they receive a shock. Starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen "WHITE CHRISTMAS" introduces Vistavision to the area. The story is set in World War II, Private Phil Davis saves the life of Captain Bob Wallace, and when the war is over, Bob, a stage celebrity, takes Phil back to Broadway with him. As a team they are a great success. They meet the lovely Haynes Sisters, Betty and Judy. who have been singing at a local roadhouse. The girls are booked for a Christmas engagement at Columbia Inn, Pine Tree. Vermont. Phil, who has criticized Bob for his too serious absorption in work, is happy to find him looking at Betty with interest and admiration. He contrives that they should go along to Pine Tree with Betty and Judy. Famous for its winter sports, Pine Tree—as it turns out—has not had a drop of snow, with the result that all the hotels there are in the doldrums, including Columbia Inn.
