PAVILION, SELSEY. Owen Wisler's classic “THE VIRGINIAN" now comes to the screen in Technicolor. Just as Wisler's work has become the classic of Western American literature, so its influence on the screen has been worldwide. Starring Joel McCrea, Brian Donlevy, Sonny Tufts and Barbara Britton. "The Virginian" brings all the rugged grandeur and vigorous drama of the great outdoors to the Pavilion, Selsey, screen where it opens on Monday. Thursday's feature "A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN" stars Dorothy McGuire, Joan Blondell, James Dunn, Lloyd Nolan and Peggy Ann Gardner.
