PAVILION, SELSEY. AUDIE MURPHY, the American war hero who was such a tremendous success in his own life-story. "To Hell and Back." adds further laurels to his screen career in "WALK THE PROUD LAND." an unusual Western. Esther Williams, the 34-year-old swimming film star who became a national swimming champion when she was 15 years old, and made her screen debut five years later, stars in "THE UNGUARDED MOMENT," with George Nader. In this film she stays on land throughout. Phyllis Calvert plays Laura. a harassed mother who runs the home and lives of her mother, two daughters, son-in-law, and husband, with no thanks from any of them, in "IT'S NEVER TOO LATE." a new British comedy. Unknown to any of her family, however, she is not just the household servant, she is also the authoress of a best-selling novel. When a Hollywood film company buys the rights of her book she flies to America and leaves her family to fend for themselves. Laura returns from America a smarter, more sophisticated woman and. to the consternation of her family, decides to live alone and concentrate on her work. "AWAY ALL BOATS." starring Jeff Chandler, George Nader, Julie Adams, and Lex Barker, tells in vivid details the story of a ship at war. The ship is the U.S. Navy attack transport, Belinda, which carries landing craft and 1,400 assault troops to the war-torn beaches of the South Pacific during World War II. Starring Vernon Gray, Ivy St Helier, and Ann Walford. "THE GOLD EXPRESS" tells of a train journey which is destined to be halted by the attempts of crooks to steal some gold.
