Fire Brigade Ball. Held in aid of the Royal West Sussex Hospital, the Fire Brigade Ball, which took place at the Pavilion, Selsey on Friday, met with great success. The amount collected is not yet available, but there was an attendance of about 150 people. Mr. L. Clough, the fourth officer of the Brigade, was M.C., and music was provided by the Casino Five Band. The prize-winners were: Spot prizes, Mr. Williams and partner, and Mr. A. Burgess and partner. The lucky ticket was held by Mr. Harding. During the evening, the Hon. Mrs. E. V. Sturdy arrived and was present for some time.
