Legion Whist Drive. No less than 58 tables were is play, at the highly successful whist drive held by the members of the local branch the British Legion in the Pavilion, in Tuesday of last week. Mr. A. Burgess was M.C., and the prizes, which were distributed by Mrs. Thorn. were won as follows :—Ladies,-- 1 , Miss Blackman; 2. Mrs. Hocking; 3, Miss Ransome; 4, Mrs. D. Bonnar; 5, Mrs. Sutton; 6, Mrs. Chiselm; 7, Mrs. Crees; 8, Mrs Reed; 9, Mrs. Bonnar sen.; 10, Mrs Terry; highest number first hall. Mrs. D.
