SELSEY. Helping The Hospital. Selsey's Alexandra Day effort was carried out last Wednesday. The sale of roses realised £20 2s. 10d. and to this was added the proceeds of a vegetable and flower stall, amounting to £2 12s. In the evening a successful dance, organised by the Women's Institute, was held on behalf of the same object in the Pavilion, which was kindly lent for the occasion by Mr. Phipps. The celebrated Jazz Band performed, with its usual excellence, and dancing was kept up until the early hours of the morning. The profits came to £l0 17s. 8d., making a total of £33 12s. 6d., for the Royal West Sussex Hospital.
