Transcript:

PAVILION, SELSEY. THE accent at the Pavilion, Selsey, for the first part of next week will be on humour, music and glamour. “NEPTUNE'S DAUGHTER,” starring shapely Esther Williams and scatter-brained Red Skelton with a supporting cast of Ricardo Montalban, Betty Garrett, Keenan Wynn and Xavier Cugat, is packed with lilting songs including the popular "Baby, It's Cold Outside.” Among the outstanding sequences are a spectacular water pageant with some of Hollywood’s most beautiful models and a thrilling polo match. The spotlight turns to drama for the rest of the week when the attraction will be “NO MAN OF HER OWN,” starring Barbara Stanwyck and John Lund. The story tells how a train crash altered the whole life of a young woman. Lyle Bettger makes fine Impression in his first film performance, and has the making of a top-line star.
