PAVILION, SELSEY. AN outdoor suspense drama on a parallel with "Shane" and "High Noon." "3.10 TO YUMA" stars Glenn Ford, Van Heflin, and Felicia Farr. Set in the Arizona territory in the time of the bad men, the film has as its principals a ruthless killer and a peace-loving rancher. Ford portrays the captured desperado who is arrested after a stage hold-up and killing. When his gang come to the rescue they succeed in killing alongside many of the lawmen, and eventually it is left to one man — the rancher to bring the desperado to justice. From the powerful pen of the international master of suspense, Georges Simenon, comes an exciting story of three man hunted brothers and their women, in "THE BROTHERS RICO," starring Richard Conte, Dianne Foster and Kathryn Grant. Italy's tempestuous Sophia Loren co-stars with Alan Ladd and Clifton Webb in "BOY ON A DOLPHIN," a story of love and intrigue in Greece. Sophia is seen as a lovely peasant girl who unearths a 2,000-year-old treasure galleon when diving for sponges. Chained to the wreck is a beautiful golden statue of a boy on a dolphin. At first nobody believes her story, but eventually an American archaeologist and a crooked antique collector become interested and engage in a desperate race to claim the treasure—the former for the National Museum and the latter from motives of personal gain. Sophia is the connecting link in the mystery, but she is torn by her interest in both the rivals. By the time her mind is made up, the story has reached its climax.
