Transcript:

A most successful whist drive was held in the Cinema Hall on Tuesday evening for the benefit of the Farmers' Red Cross Fund. The expenses of the hall were kindly met by Sir A. Hamilton, Bart. Many prizes were given by local people, and the refreshments were provided by the farmers of Selsey. The net sum handed to the fund was £l2 18s. 1d.
