Transcript:

DISAPPEARED TWO MONTHS AGO. Wife Identifies Dead Husband. Verdict "Found drowned" was recorded by Mr. Loader-Cooper yesterday evening when sat at the Pavilion, Selsey, to inquire into a death of unknown man whose body waa washed ashore between Selsey and Bracklesham on Wednesday evening. Evidence of finding the body at the high tide mark was given by the Rev. F. C. Vickson, of the Daisy Bungalow, West Sussex, and P.C. Osman said the body had been in the water for some time. The identity of the dead man had not been established at the time of the inquiry, but this morning the wife of a man who has been missing from Lymington, Hants, came to examine the clothing, and satisfied herself that the remains were those of her husband, Mr. Archibald Bert Coles, whose disappearance from his home dates from May 4.
