PAVILION, SELSEY. PRESENTED at the Pavilion, Selsey, for the first part of next week, "NOOSE" stars Carole Landis, Derek Farr and Joseph Calleia with Stanley Holloway and Nigel Patrick included in the supporting cast. The story concerns itself with Sugiani, a big-time racketeer and the efforts of a newspaper girl and her boy-friend with his "army" of friends to smash his syndicate. The film comes rapidly to a close as the two, supported by dozens of strong-arm men, stage a mass assault on the racketeer's last stronghold, a night-club, where a battle royal takes place. Jeanne Crain is paired with Jeffrey Lynn, Ann Sothern with Kirk Douglas and Linda Darnell with Paul Douglas In the comedy drama "A LETTER TO THREE WIVES." which provides the main attraction for the last three days of the week. The different production begins when three women who are about to leave together on an excursion-steamer trip receive a letter saying that a girl they all know has run away with one of their husbands. From then on the film tells in flash-back form, the doubts and memories which flash through each woman's mind.
