PAVILION, SELSEY. LOUIS HAYWARD, Veronica Hurst and Michael Pate star in "STORM OVER AFRICA." A shipment of Vickers machine guns intended for an English regiment holding British East Africa, is stolen from H.M.S. Marlin in August 1914 while the ship is in Mombasa harbour. Lieutenant James Denham, from under whose eyes the guns were stolen, is ordered to effect their return. Lieut. Denham is aided by Corporal John, a huge soldier in the Royal African Rifles, and they discover that there is a traitor in H.M.S. Marlin dealing with the Germans. A thrilling chase through the jungle ensues, and an ambush in the heart of the jungle is the climax to the film. The ever popular Bowery Boys excel themselves in "PARIS PLAYBOYS." When he is mistaken for a missing French scientist who had been working on the formula for a super rocket fuel, he is sent to Paris as a decoy for a group that have been attempting to steal the formula. The film follows the usual line of hair-raising incidents that typify the Bowery Boys. "PRIZE OF GOLD" is reviewed under Orion, Midhurst.
