SELSEY. A Successful Concert. —On Thursday, concert, organized by Sir Archibald Hamilton, Bart. (Lieutenant National Reserve and Hon. Recruiting Officer for Selsey and District), was given in the Cinema Hall, by the "Yellow Poms,” in. aid of the funds of the Roehampton Hospital. The inhabitants, in. accordance with their usual custom when an appeal is made to them in. the cause of charity, rallied in force on this occasion, and shewed their sympathy with the wounded heroes who will need artificial limbs in such a practical way that the magnificent sum of £21 11s. 4d. was the net result. Thanks are due to the "Yellow Poms,” for their great kindness in coming forward and providing such an excellent entertainment. Those taking part were Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Cole, Mr. F. Longlands. Miss A. Gibbins, Mr. G. Bovis. Miss D. Kenwood, Mr. H, Lake, and Miss F. Hooper, with Mrs. R. W. Dawtrey as accompanist.
