PAVILION, SELSEY. AMONG the talented international star team in John Huston's "BEAT THE DEVIL," are Academy Award winners Humphrey Bogart and Jennifer Jones. Co-starring with them are Italy's Gina Lollobrigida, Britain's Robert Morley, Peter Lorre and Edward Underdown. The story develops along humorous lines, with Bogart and Jennifer Jones falling in love with one another on the tramp steamer which takes them to Africa. It appears that Billy Dannreuther and his business associates are hoping secretly to acquire land in Africa in which there are valuable uranium deposits. The fun begins when everyone starts double-crossing everyone else, and matters move swiftly along to a hilarious and satisfying climax. "THOUGHT TO KILL" has a blend of thrills and humour in three short stories. Douglas Fairbanks jnr., is starred. Out of the thrilling days when the Apache Indians were on the rampage on the Western plains comes the Technicolor adventure drama. "ARROWHEAD." starring Charlton Heston with Jack Palance and Katy Jurado. The film relates the action-filled adventure of a hard-bitten Indian scout, who has a bitter hatred towards Indians. His mortal foe is the son of an Indian chieftain whose enmity towards the whites is equally strong. When open warfare erupts between the U.S. Cavalry and the Apache, bristling conflict between these two adversaries explodes with fury. Romance and adventure at sea are the ingredients of "JAMAICA RUN." a Technicolor production starring Ray Milland, Arlene Dahl and Wendell Corey.
