Conservative Meeting. Under the auspices of Selsey Conservative and Unionist Association, Major J. S. Courtauld the other day addressed a well attended meeting in the Pavilion. Mr. E. G. Arnell presided, and was supported by Capt. E. H. Weller-Poley (Divisional Chairman). Col. W. G. Moore, Mrs. Goodwin, Mrs. Mathew, Mr. C. Goodwin. and Mr. H. D. Ablewhite (Organising Secretary and Agent). Major Courtauld gave an address upon the Coal Bill, dealt with the rapidly increasing unemployment under the Government, and urged that the only cure for unemployment was the safeguarding of industries.
