Transcript:

PAVILION. SELSEY. Co-starring the perfect romantic team, Anna Neagle and Michael Wilding, "THE COURTNEYS OF CURZON STREET"—a Herbert Wilcox production—comes on Monday for three days. Its story traces the events in the lives of a lovable family, from the moment when the titled son shocks Victorian society by marrying his mother's personal maid, down to the time when—at the end of the last war the grandson announces his engagement to the daughter of a factory worker. Completing the week's entertainment, "NIGHT BEAT" follows the adventures of two ex-Commando sergeants when they join the Metropolitan Police force. Unfortunately, the two friends encounter difficulties in civilian life, because one of them turns crooked. Heading the all-star cast are Anne Crawford, Maxwell Reed and Ronald Howard, together with Christine Norden.
