Film Preview – Bognor Regis Observer – Saturday, 26 August 1950
Transcript:

PAVILION, SELSEY. ADAPTED from the play by John Patrick, "THE HASTY HEART" is the main feature at the Pavilion, Selsey, from next Thursday. Starred are Ronald Reagan, Patricia Neal, and Richard Todd, with Anthony Nicholls, Howard Marion-Crawford, Ralph Michael, Orlando Martins, John Sherman, and Alfie Bass included in the supporting cast. The story is of a young Scots soldier, badly injured in the Burma campaign, who has only a few weeks to live, but he does not know it. His ward friends and doctor and nurse try to make his last days happy ones. Richard Todd gives an outstanding performance as the morose, proud young soldier in this moving drama. "HERE COME THE HUGGETTS" is the principal item for the first half of the week.
