Columbia's Technicolour production, "THE JOLSON STORY," which opens on Thursday, more than lives up to all of its spectacular promises. Based on the heart-warming story of the world's greatest entertainer, the incomparable Al Jolson, it emerges as a glorious cavalcade of music, his magic and his times. Larry Parks, Evelyn Keyes, William Demarest and Bill Goodwin are in the top roles. Under the guidance of Director Alfred E. Green, with Larry Parks in the title role, the film moves impressively through more than forty years of Jolson's remarkable career.
