PAVILION, SELSEY. MARILYN MONROE plays the part of a flighty night-dub singer in BUS STOP," co-starring Don Murray as the slow-talking cowpuncher who knew what he wanted and got it. Once his eyes are set on Marilyn she has a hectic time trying to evade him. His advances are spurned until the last time, when the lovely Marilyn realizes that being chased by a rugged he-man isn't such a bad thing after all. Richard Widmark is seen as a condemned killer in "THE LAST WAGON," an out-of-the-rut Western. On his way to execution in the hands of a brutal sheriff, he saves the lives of six children from a band of Indians, and this act plays a vital part in his defence when he eventually stands trial for his life. The idol of countless teen-agers, Tommy Steele, the rock 'n' roll singer, portrays himself in "THE TOMMY STEELE STORY." The film traces his career from the time he washes dishes in the ship's galley to the day he is acclaimed by the recording moguls of Tin Pan Alley.
