SELSEY. Presentation to the Rector of Selsey. A public presentation was made on Monday evening to the Rector, the Rev. C. W. G. Wilson, who is leaving Selsey this week to take up duties at Cuckfield, East Sussex, in succession to the Rev. Preb. Fisher. As have before recorded, Mr. Wilson has been at Selsey for six years, and during that period he has identified himself with all the activities of Selsey, and at the same time endeared himself to the whole of the inhabitants. The regret felt at his departure was evidenced on Monday evening, when in the Cinema Hall a large company of parishioners and friends assembled to bid him farewell. Complimentary speeches were made Mr. E. G. Arnell. J.P. (who presided), and Mr. Heron- Allen, and the latter on behalf of more than 300 subscribers presented to Mr. Wilson a silver loving-cup, and £64 together with an illuminated address.
