PAVILION, SELSEY. The cloud of secrecy surrounding the world's most awesome striking force is dramatically lifted in the film. "STRATEGIC AIR COMMAND". The closely guarded gates that until recently remained shut to the public have opened to give the world its first full-scale look at the incredible planes and men of America's atomic air arm. Heading the cast are James Stewart, June Allyson, Frank Lovejoy, Barry Sullivan, Alex Nicol and Bruce Bennett. In support is "ASSIGNMENT CHILDREN." with Danny Kaye which illustrates the world-wide work of UNICEF. "KING RICHARD AND THE CRUSADERS" starring Rex Harrison, Virginia Mayo, George Sanders and Laurence Harvey, is a stirring tale of Holy war between the forces of Christian Europe, led by England's King Richard the Lionhearted and the Mohammedans led by the Saracen ruler Saladin and the main theme is the efforts of a treacherous English knight, Sir Giles Emaury, to assassinate King Richard. Norman Wisdom repeats his triumph of "Trouble In Store" with his new film "ONE GOOD TURN." Whether crazily conducting a baffled symphony orchestra, being hypnotised into a boxing match or taking part in a London to Brighton walking race, Wisdom knows to the the final giggle the laughter power of each sequence. Again he tempers the uproarious moments with that quiet pathos which has captured for him a permanent place in the gallery of great international clowns. Norman co-stars with lovely Joan Rice as the school-teacher who steals his heart. Shirley Abicair, Thora Hird and William Russell lead the supporting cast. In support is "UNDER THE SOUTHERN CROSS" another wonderful film by the husband-and-wife team, Armand and Michaela Denis. This time they visit the vast Australian continent where they film the life that abounds in the jungle, desert and mountain areas of inland Australia.
