Dancing – Chichester Observer – Saturday, 11 March 1939
Transcript:

Dancing Time. It will be welcome news to many that the Pavilion will again be open for dancing during the summer. It is hoped hold the first dance on Easter Monday, and then continue them throughout the season. Arrangements are being carried out to render the seating removable when necessary and on the success of this depends the nights chosen for dancing. I believe dancing be a popular pastime in Selsey and the need for a dance hall be as great as ever. There are Clubs where one can dance. I know, but not everybody can afford or wants to go to a club. The Pavilion scheme will, I presume, cater for a more general public and on that score is to be applauded.
