PAVILION, SELSEY. A FILM which was chosen as a Royal Performance film, “THE FORSYTE SAGA,” comes to the screen of the Pavilion, Selsey, for the first part of next week. Starring Greer Garson, Errol Flynn, Walter Pidgeon and Robert Young, the film tells the story of Irene, a woman wooed by three men. The feature of the film is the outstanding acting which vividly brings life the characters in Book One of John Galsworthy's masterpiece. “CHALLENGE TO LASSIE,'' starring Donald Crisp and Edmund Gwenn, comes to the screen for the rest of the week. It tells a true-life story of a dog that becomes and remains a Scottish hero. The story, heart-warming and hilarious, is of a stray dog without a pedigree, and its devotion to one man. The animal the first and only dog in history to become a free citizen of the city Edinburgh. "Challenge to Lassie" the enchanting record of a gentle animal that defied a judge, a general and a policeman.
