PAVILION, SELSEY. THE cinema will be closed for redecoration on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Christmas Day. Tomorrow (Sunday) Fredric March takes the title role in the Technicolor "CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS" Other stars in this colourful British adventure film are Florence Eldridge, Linden Travers, Francis L Sullivan, Kathleen Ryan and Derek Bond. The music was composed by Arthur Bliss and is played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. By way of the supporting film is a comedy by Jimmy Edwards in "IN THE AIR." On the morning of Boxing Day, the Roy Rogers' Riders' Club will meet for a show. In the evening, Jeff Chandler gives a second portrayal of the famous Indian chieftain Cochise in the Technicolor production "THE BATTLE AT APACHE PAWS.' Disclosing another phase in the life of the great Apache leader, the film is based on historical incidents. Cochise's ardent desire for peace and the murderous hatred of his compatriot Geronimo for the whites are shown in direct contrast to the accompaniment of massacres, battles, romance and the sporadic savage warfare that marred the last stand of the Indian nation. In support is the comedy," MA AND PA KETTLE AT THE FAIR," with Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride.
