Read moreThe Selsey Pavilion is a 110-year-old theatre in the seaside town of Selsey, West Sussex. Built in 1913, much remains as it was then. In its heyday, it was a year-round community hub, theatre, cinema and live entertainment venue.
Find out moreThe Selsey Pavilion Trust is a registered charity founded in 2017 by Selsey residents. Our primary objective is to ensure the enduring future of the Selsey Pavilion. We are committed to refurbishing the Pavilion into a versatile community arts and heritage center, enriching the lives of our local community.
Please support our efforts by ordering one of our Selsey Prints by acclaimed British illustrator Dave Thompson.
Alternatively, please consider a donation via our PayPal charity page. All proceeds go to the Trust and help our continued efforts to secure the future of the Selsey Pavilion.
On Wednesday, 25th September 2024, our vintage Westrex cinema projector was featured on BBC1's The Repair Shop. Expertly restored by vintage electronics specialist Mark Stuckey and Dom Chinea, the projector will enable the return of 35mm celluloid films to the Pavilion for the first time in over 50 years.
With the support of the British Newspaper Archives and the West Sussex Records Office, we have recorded well in excess of 1,000 newspaper cuttings and articles relating to the Selsey Pavilion.
