Jubilee Jamboree

Sunday 5th June was Jubilee Jamboree Day. The Pavilion Trust had a gazebo located on the Recreation Ground and a shop location on the High Street which was an exhibition space shared with the Selsey Photo Archive. The shop location was close to the French Market and had a steady stream of visitors all day. Many stopped to chat and recall their memories of the Pavilion. Some offered to loan memorabilia and others were happy to sign up as Friends of the Pavilion. We warmly welcome the new readers who signed up for the monthly newsletter.

The Recreation Ground location was very busy. The giant deckchair drew inquisitive crowds. Even her Majesty could not resist visiting the gazebo! The Trust’s funds were swelled thanks to the efforts of Phil Bassett, Rosie and Andy Neal who put in a marathon stint which lasted deep into the evening.
