The small hall located behind the main auditorium at the Selsey Pavilion.

The grant funding will specifically be used to insulate the walls of the Pavilion's small hall, transforming it into a warm, energy-efficient, and accessible space for year-round community use.

This insulation project is a vital step toward improving climate resilience and reducing the Pavilion’s carbon footprint, aligning with local environmental priorities. The upgraded small hall will host a variety of arts, heritage, and environmental events, including talks and exhibitions by groups such as the Manhood Wildlife and Heritage Group and Wilder Selsey.

Christian Skelton, Chair of Trustees, stated:

"We're thrilled to receive this support from Ferry Farm. This grant not only helps us reduce energy costs and emissions but ensures the Pavilion continues to grow as a vibrant hub at the heart of Selsey’s community."

The insulation project complements previous sustainability improvements, including floor and ceiling insulation, creating an energy-efficient venue that serves residents across Selsey, the wider Manhood Peninsula, and Chichester District.
